Dear Child of God,
I pray that what you read encourages your heart and that through Christ you find strength to help you move forward.
Life’s challenges are no secret. We all face seasons that test our limits. Jesus himself said that we would encounter trouble in this life (John 16:33). It’s unavoidable. So, where do we turn when the storms of life press upon us? How do we summon the courage to overcome obstacles?
We turn to God’s Word. In the same verse where Jesus warns his disciples of impending trouble, he reassures them to take heart because he has overcome the world.
To me, “take heart” suggests that we can actively choose where our heart finds refuge in times of trouble.
What anchors our lives? What foundation do we rely on when the world seems to crumble around us? These choices define our ability to triumph.
Not every situation is pleasant, but we have the assurance that no matter what we face, we never face it alone. The one who stands with us is greater and stronger than any obstacle.
The enemy often tries to predict our future based on the struggles we face today, whispering lies like, “Things will never change,” “No one will love you,” or “You will never be happy again.”
But Scripture reminds us that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), giving us hope.
We trust that God is still at work. We can confidently rely on Him to bring us times of refreshing and seasons filled with joy.
I pray that as you meditate on each verse, God strengthens you with might and bolsters your faith to overcome every challenge.
God bless.
