Finding Hope in Christ: When Change Seems Impossible
Hope is a belief that what is now is not what will always be. It’s an understanding that change is possible, and change is coming. In Christ, hope is more than just a hollow wish—as believers, our hope is built on the solid, trustworthy promises of God.
The author of Hebrews said it best when he wrote: “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). As believers, we have countless reasons to have hope. Let’s dive into what Scripture teaches us about this unshakeable foundation.
10 Bible Verses About Hope
1. Our God is the God of hope. His hope brings joy and peace.
Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
2. Just like God had plans for Jeremiah, He also has plans for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 – “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.'”
