Because of Ephesians 1:4, we know that God chose us, pulling us to Him with loving-kindness. As Revelations 3:20 shows us, the moment we choose Him back, confessing our sins and accepting Him as our Lord and Savior, (1John1:9).
Jesus allows us to become children of God. He calls us out of fear and shame and adopts us into His kingdom, claiming us as His own.
Remember, the truth sets us free (John 8:32). As you read these verses, allow them to wash over you. You are not abandoned. God calls you His own.
